Carducci and his lessons: notes on Parini’s Odi

Abstract

This work aims to give a general presentation of the papers written by Carducci relating to the lessons given by the poet in 1874-75, then reused in 1880-81, 1881-82 and 1901-02, on which particular attention is paid. First of all, it will be provided a report of the papers, followed by an analysis of the figure of Carducci as a professor and his relationship with students, to finally observe how this material has been incorporated into his essays.
